My name is John Hamilton, and I own Lone Star Web Designs and build every site that goes out the door. I was born in Midland and came east to study Computer Science at Texas A&M, which is how I landed in College Station and why I never left. I started the company in 2023 because I would rather build something for a business owner I can meet for coffee than write code for a company that would never learn my name. Outside of work I have been training jiu jitsu since 2019 and spent a few years fighting amateur MMA, finishing 4 and 2. That is where I learned to stay calm with a problem I have not solved yet, which turns out to be most of what this job is at eleven o'clock at night.

What I kept running into with small businesses around Bryan and College Station is that they are all stuck in the same place.
